Do you want more time, space and energy to put toward the people you love and the things you are passionate about? Welcome back Encouragers! I am back from taking a 4-week break from the podcast and I SO appreciate you guys giving me that time to rest, relax and practice what I preach by putting some margin into my life and schedule. Season 3 is going to be AMAZING! Listen in as I fill you in on what’s been going on!
You all know that January is my favorite month but September and October are really close seconds! I LOVE the change-over to fall and when the kids start school again, I feel like there is a renewed sense of purpose and I get a fresh wave of motivation to finish the year strong with my goals!
I took the last month off from the podcast and strategically chose episodes to air during the break that speak to the concept of rest and self care. In this episode from earlier in the season, I talk about shutting down at night and how it can be one of the most difficult things to do as we handle all the roles in our lives, especially if you work from home. How do we fully turn off our brain so we can close our eyes and get some rest at night? Sometimes it happens out of exhaustion or because we want to check out and not face our “to do” list. In this podcast I talk about what I do to fully (and properly) shut down at night.

Burnout has happened to me in the past and to help prevent it from happening again, I'm taking a month off from the podcast. Burnout is one of the reasons why I’ve developed many of my systems and is one of the motivations behind why I wrote my book, “Equipped to Execute.” In this episode, I’ll cover my tips and tricks for avoiding burnout.
