In this episode, I emphasize the importance of leaving a legacy for your family. We all want to create lasting memories for our children but they don't always have to be elaborate, beachfront vacations! Some of the Scott family legacy builders include: journaling, scheduled memories, baking, mommy and daddy dates, and family values that I believe you can emulate in your household. I hope to encourage you to brainstorm with your spouse to find ways that work for your family to build that crucial legacy.

If you own a business, you’re already doing too much and probably spending more time working IN your business but not ON your business. I’m challenging you in the next six weeks to hire one of these four positions: executive assistant, website developer, marketing/social media person, or cleaning lady. And yes, I just gave you a deadline! Trust me… you’ll thank me later.
Have you ever thought about or prayed about the position you are in, knowing you love it but still feel a tug that there is more you are seeking? Listen to my friend Shelly Gaddis explain what she did with her business, Elegant Mommy, the tug on her heart, and how she made some tough changes that altered her life in a positive way!

My secret weapon for generating more revenue with my business, Rebekah Scott Designs, has been recording and posting videos to our Facebook page! I was recently selected for a feature in Handmade Magazine about this very topic so I wanted to share with you how videos have changed my business and my bottom line.
During one of my “Coaching Friday” events, you guys asked me what I did in the “middle” of my business with Rebekah Scott Designs. I LOVE this question because it’s rarely talked about. There’s SO much information out there about how to start a business but not much about what to do when you’re hustling to make it grow. After 14 years in business, I have some insights for you!

Ashley’s balancing act with motherhood and her career led to this sweet book , which is an anthem for working moms everywhere and lets our little ones know that no matter what we do when we are away, being home is our favorite job!
I get asked frequently by other product-based business owners whether consignment or wholesale is right for them. In this episode, I lay out which businesses are best for each method and talk about my experience trying both with my company, Rebekah Scott Designs.
I recently read a book called “A Heart for Him” which details a mother’s journey through the loss of her infant daughter, Ivy. This “horribly beautiful” story hit home for me, as my family has been through the pain of losing my brother, Philip, to suicide 4 years ago (almost to the day that this episode airs). I had the honor of speaking with the author, Anna Friese, and we both hope this episode brings you comfort and encourages you to trust God’s purpose and plan, even through devastating loss and heartache.

Listen in as I share what I did differently this summer and how I plan ahead so everyone (including me) has some fun!
Through her 1-year-old daughter’s cancerous brain tumor diagnosis, a move for their family, and several major career changes, farm wife, mother of 5, Doctor of Physical Therapy, and children’s pastor Angie Klock joins us to talk about the importance of surrendering, managing fear, and trusting in God’s plan.
